Backstory
Origins
Flambae was born in Herat, Afghanistan on August 20, 1987. Little is known about his early life, though he has a sibling and a niece he cares about.
Criminal Career
As a supervillain, Flambae's crimes included arson, assault, and vandalism. During his criminal career, he had a fateful encounter with Mecha Man, who cut off his right hand's little and ring fingers with a plasma blade—leaving only the proximal phalanx bones.
Joining the Phoenix Program
After his fight with Mecha Man, Flambae joined the Phoenix Program at the SDN. Before Robert Robertson became dispatcher, Flambae drove the previous dispatcher to quit in just two days by setting his Kia Soul on fire. When Flambae spotted Mecha Man at a superhero bar, he tried to start a fight—resulting in Robert throwing either water or alcohol at him: - Water: Flambae slips in a puddle and breaks a front tooth on the bar - Alcohol: His eyebrows get singed off Either way, his appearance is altered for the next five episodes until it returns to normal.
Appearance
Tall and fit with dark brown hair tied in a ponytail, with a single strand dangling across his forehead. He's missing his ring and pinky fingers on his right hand (courtesy of Robert). His costume is a black, skin-tight suit with an extremely low V-cut revealing his chest and abs, decorated with flame motifs on the V-cut, hands, and legs.
Personality
Flambae is a hot-head with a bad temper and high pride—he grew defensive when mocked for losing to a powerless human. He's a pyromaniac who sets things on fire for fun or stress relief. Key personality traits: - Prideful: Gets defensive about his reputation and fighting record - Straightforward: Doesn't avoid difficult topics, even bringing up Chase's possible death - Secretly Caring: Despite the insults, he genuinely cares about teammates and was the only Z-Team member who didn't sabotage others He lies to save face but accepts when he's wrong. After being forgiven unconditionally by the team for attacking Robert, he wanted to extend that same forgiveness to Invisigal.
